INTRODUCING MATT BLEY, OUR NEW SENIOR CONSULTANT
Insignia Environmental is thrilled to announce that Matt Bley has joined our team as a Senior Consultant based in Virginia. Matt has 30 years of experience in the energy and environmental sectors and has worked as a director for two major energy companies.
During his time at Dominion Energy and Berkshire Hathaway Energy BHEGT&S, Matt facilitated the approval of more than 130 capital expansion projects. As an assistant director and manager for two state environmental agencies, he oversaw the implementation of statewide programs, including watershed management, stormwater management, and land conservation easements. He is well-versed in project management, strategic planning, and regulatory guidance.
Matt is an expert in Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Regulatory Certificates and National Environmental Policy Act review. He has extensive experience with project permitting strategies and energy project authorizations.
